I am a junkstore gal.Paint by Numbers, funky planters, flowered dinnerware, kitchen tables, vintage jewelry and purses and scarves... old magazines with fabulous graphics, vintage cookbooks, old barwar, toile painted trays, cream colored vases, sewing notions, vintage patterns, polka dotted glasses, souveniers of Niagara Falls...any {and sometimes all} of these items have been known to rattle around in the back of my beat up junkmobile, on their way to my archive of junk aka my house. If I am lucky, I come home from my ventures into the junklands of Upstate New York along the Erie Canal not only with a trunk full of junk booty but also with a notebook of vignettes about the the cool characters I have met along my junkin' way. Afterall, any true junker will tell you that it's not only about the junk, it's about the people behind the junk that are the real finds.
